Idea #1: Take a break and go outside. 

Take a minute during a busy day to remember to just go outside and get some fresh air. Even if you’re stuck at the office, inside your home, or just running around doing errands, finding a few minutes to go outside, enjoy the sunlight and the fresh air can make all the difference in your overall well-being. Studies have shown that even 10 minutes outside can make a difference to your stress levels. 

Idea #2: Go for a bike ride. 

If you enjoy cycling then a great way to enjoy the wind and the sun while getting in some exercise is to go for a bike ride. Cycling gets your heart rate up while still allowing you to enjoy all the nature that’s around you. Cycling is said to improve your mental health and brain power, which is an added bonus on top of those exercise endorphins.

If you have the space and the time, then one way to maintain whole body health and exercise your horticulture skills is to start a garden. Gardens give you something to do physically, which helps keep you healthy and active, but also adds color and vibrancy to your life, which can help improve your mood and give you a boost in your day-to-day happiness. Try planting some bright flowers for a visual boost, or look into some warmth-loving vegetables like tomatoes, berries, and peppers.

Part of keeping healthy is keeping your stress levels in check and giving yourself time to breathe and reset.
