Restorative Dentistry

What is Restorative Dentistry?

Restorative dentistry focuses on fixing the damage in your mouth.

Restorative dentistry can protect your smile for years to come. We catch minor problems before they become major problems, and we handle advanced restorative dentistry as well!

Zirconia, Gold, and Porcelain Crowns

Crowns are the perfect fit for extensive decay and broken teeth.

Teeth can wear in a variety of ways, including discoloration, chipping, and cracking. Our dental crowns restore, strengthen, and protect your teeth for an extended period of time.

Crowns can be constructed from porcelain, zirconia, or gold. Our porcelain and zirconia crowns are tinted to match your teeth.

We have many different types of crown options for patients to choose from. We can provide you with custom-made, natural-looking teeth that fit your smile beautifully without giving up durability or strength.

We use i-Tero digital technology to help you visualize treatment outcomes and progress. This digital visualization technology is faster, more comfortable, and far more inspiring than non-digital molds!

Fixed Bridges

Replace missing teeth and protect your future oral health.

Dental bridges are an effective way to replace one or more missing teeth, and they also prevent nearby teeth from drifting or tilting out of alignment. The new tooth is held in place by anchoring it using crowns placed on neighboring teeth to provide stability. Dental bridges can also be anchored with implants when necessary.

Dental Implants

Implants can replace a single tooth or a whole arch of teeth.

Missing teeth happen for so many reasons: trauma, illness, and decay are just some of those reasons. Whatever the cause, our aim is to get you back your confidence and smile vitality.

Dental implants are a wonderful way to replace one or more missing teeth. They offer many benefits over other treatments, such as bridges and dentures: they look natural, they feel natural, and they work just like your natural tooth would!

Dental implants are created from materials, such as titanium and zirconium, that integrate with the bone and support a replacement crown, acting just like your natural tooth root.

Since a single implant can replace one missing tooth, there is no need for bridges or dentures to hold the crown in. Dental Implants can also be used to replace the entire arch of missing teeth! An arch of replacement teeth is anchored to your jawbone with implants. This procedure revitalizes your smile in an aesthetically beautiful, functional, and enduring way.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures use your existing teeth to anchor your denture.

It is common for people to lose some or all of their teeth. This may happen as a result of an accident, illness, or periodontal disease. When this happens, it can be difficult to chew food properly and speak clearly. A partial denture is one solution that could help replace the missing teeth and improve your quality of life.

Partial dentures provide full support for the replacement teeth by anchoring to your other teeth so they won't slip out from under the gum line as a conventional denture might do.

Dentures

Full dentures are used to replace an entire arch or an entire mouthful of teeth.

Dentures can be made from a number of materials. The most common type is the full denture, which fits over your gums, while partial dentures sit on top of some remaining teeth or implants. Dentures need to be cleaned regularly and replaced at regular intervals as they can become loose or worn out.

Periodontal Therapy

When we talk about periodontal tissue, we mean your gums.

Gum tissues act to surround and support the teeth while also anchoring them firmly in place within the jawbone. But when the gum tissues get infected, the result is gum disease, which can progress to periodontitis, the most serious form of gum disease.

We treat gums and the jawbone at all stages of periodontitis, through prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Good oral hygiene is key to good periodontal health! That’s why we offer patients a full range of preventive care, including periodontal scaling and root planing, which is the only way to effectively eliminate deep pockets and reverse early signs of periodontal disease.

Treatment for gum disease typically includes one or more of the following:

  • Deep cleanings between teeth that are not easily reached by brushing or flossing.
  • Professional treatments, including scaling, laser therapy, and root planing.
  • Periodontal surgery to treat advanced cases.

Periodontal Surgery

If you have advanced periodontitis, you may need a bone and tissue graft.

The most severe form of gum disease is periodontitis. It develops when bacteria and the toxins produced by the bacteria invade below the gum line and infect the tissues.

At this late stage, the infection breaks down the bone and tissues that keep teeth in place. Left untreated, the teeth become loose from lack of support and can eventually fall out.

Periodontal disease is the most common cause of tooth loss in adults. But whether you've actually lost teeth or not, there's hope! Implants can replace missing teeth.

And if your periodontitis is so advanced that there is not sufficient bone to hold the replacement teeth? This is where bone grafting can come in. Bone grafts help reverse some of the damage caused by periodontal disease and provide a strong base for your replacement teeth. It will take several months for the transplanted bone to be ready for a dental implant.

New bone growth will eventually replace the graft material. Sometimes you may need only minor bone grafting, which can be done at the same time as the implant placement surgery.

When the grafting and implant are complete, your dentist will help you care for your beautiful, functional, and healthy new smile for the rest of your life!

Full Smile Restoration

We can use a variety of options to give you a full smile restoration.

A smile is one of the first things people notice about you, and it can say a lot about your mood and personality. A bright, healthy smile conveys happiness, confidence, and vitality. But if you're self-conscious about your smile because of missing or damaged teeth, you're not alone. Millions of people suffer from tooth loss every year.

Fortunately, there are many options available today for restoring your smile. One popular option is full smile restoration using dental implants. Dental implants look and feel just like real teeth.

With a full smile restoration, we can replace any number of missing teeth with implants, crowns, and a number of other restorative and cosmetic services. This gives you a smile you'll be proud to show off.
